MISSION: The purpose of Project Knew Groove (PKG) is to provide facilities and educational programs for artists of all ages here on the San Mateo County Coastside.

STATUS: PKG has been approved for fiscal sponsorship from Catalyst for Youth, a non profit based out of San Jose, allowing us to accept tax deductible donations as an official 501(c)3 organization. DONATE

Opening Studio: Our current drive is to raise the money to open the studio in HMB and begin programs by Jan. 1, 2012. This goal includes the costs for a 1 year lease, building the studio, hiring initial employees and operating for 1 year.

09.20.11 1st Annual PKG Holiday Gift Fair
Join us for Project Knew Groove's first annual Holiday Gift Fair in Pillar Point Harbor. Located within the Harbor Village shopping mall of Oceano Hotel & Spa, this event will be held rain or shine. A family-friendly event with art and craft vendors, live music, food and beverages, plus special guest, Santa! Bring the kids along for some fun holiday shopping, enjoy a glass of wine while listening to live music and get your family's portrait with Santa. Shop local to support your community!

03.07.11 2nd Annual PKG Art & Music Festival
The Project Knew Groove's 2nd Annual PKG Art & Music Festival date is set. July 16th 2011! The event will be held in the beautiful Princeton Harbor across from the Old Princeton Landing during the day and at Old Princeton Landing all night. 4 stages throughout the day, BBQ by the Lions Club, art raffle, art fair, and interactive art booths. Project Knew Groove's Bank Account is open. We are now building our funds to reach our goal of opening the studio.

Project Knew Groove is hosting their first event of 2011 on January 8th at the Old Princeton Landing. Knew Groove New Years will feature music, live art, dancing and video.

The Pumpkin Festival is this weekend and PKG is setting up a stage, live art, and gallery at the Stone Pine Pumpkin Patch right off Main St. in Half Moon Bay. We will be hosting an open mic all weekend long so if your interested in signing up for a slot email Mark at [email protected] Otherwise, come on by at any time during the festival to play some songs, recite some poetry, or express yourself artistically on the stage in any other way. Come out and support local artists and our new Charity!
